KATA
Kata is a Japanese word describing detailed patterns of movements practiced either solo or in pairs. It is the road map of all of the basic moves and it taught to all ages and skill levels in a scaffolded fashion.

BUNKAI
Bunkai literally meaning analysis or disassembly is a term used in Japanese martial arts referring to process of analysing kata and extracting fighting techniques from the movements of a "form" (kata). This is only taught to adults and intermediates that meet the Sensai's approval.

CHIN NA
Chin na is the set of joint lock techniques used in martial arts to control or lock an opponent's joints or muscles/tendons so they cannot move, thus neutralizing the opponent's fighting ability. Chin na literally translates as lock catch technique
